YinYasa is a fusion of Vinyasa flow (a rhythmic flow of postures with breath) mixed with Yin yoga (long held poses). We will spend first half of class warming the body via sun salutations, then standing postures focused on strength and balance. The second half of class will consist of seated postures allowing for deeper stretches and longer held poses to cultivate calm and release tension from the body and mind. This is a balanced practice leading to a more balanced you. Whether you are just starting out, or an experienced yogi, there will be options for every level. There will be challenging variations for more advanced students, yet fun an non-intimidating options for newer students. Bring water, hand towel and a yoga mat for this class.
